We have a dedicated Upashraya for Sadhu Bhagwants in the complex. We have taken care to craft out our Upashraya to be simple and minimal in design, reflecting the principles of austerity and non-possession (aparigraha) in the Upashraya.
It includes a large hall for meditation and sermons, along with a few basic rooms for Sadhu Bhagwants, we have ensured natural ventilation and very little furniture to comply with Spiritual code and standards.
It adheres to Jain principles of simplicity and non-attachment, where Sadhu Bhagwants prefer to live with minimal possessions and focus on study, meditation, and teaching.
Our Upashraya
- Large empty hall used for pravachan (discourses) and meditation
- Floor seating only, with no furniture or decoration
- Simple white or natural-colored walls
- Natural ventilation and light through windows or courtyards
- Small, basic rooms for Sadhu Bhagwants, normally with a mat
- Complying Jain principles like aparigraha (non-possession) and helps create an environment focused on spiritual practice and discipline.
