“Karmasha”, The Pride of our Mewar

After the 15th rejuvenation of Shatrunjay temples, the invaders furthered the destruction later too damaging and destroying the sacred Jin idols.

Seeing a revered idol’s head separated in such destruction, Vidyamandan Suri Ji were so upset and wiped in tears in deep sorrow and pain. They urged Tolasha to re-establish the God on thy revered seat again. But he learned that Tolasha’s fortune did not favor this holy endeavor.

Without giving up, they called upon Tolasha’s young son Karmasha and initiated the Chintamani Jaap. Vidyamandan Suri Ji himself too performed Attham Tapas and eliminated the negative substance and effects of this marauding act.

Vidyamandan Suri Ji performed Pran-Pratishtha in auspicious Muhurat, resulting in the sacred Idol breathed seven times! And till date since then, this rare idol is worshiped.

Thus the 16th rejuvenation across the Shatrunjay Hills is credited to Karmasha.
